From March 24th to 29th, 2025, at the invitation of several universities and research institutions in Russia, Professor Zuo Mingzhang, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence Education and Dean of the School of Education Information Technology, led a delegation to visit Moscow Municipal Normal University, Moscow State Normal University, Russian Academy of Educational Sciences, and Russian State Normal University to discuss topics such as artificial intelligence education cooperation, international joint scientific research, and student teacher exchanges. Relevant experts were invited to participate in the 3rd World Digital Education Conference to be held in Wuhan in 2025, to jointly promote the construction of the Sino Russian Artificial Intelligence Education Joint Laboratory and promote the high-quality development of Sino Russian education cooperation.

At Moscow Municipal Normal University, Vice President Evgeny Silyanov and Vice President Ruslan Suleimanov met with the delegation. Experts including Tatyana Nikitina, Director of the Student Assessment Center at the school, Roman Kupriyanov, Director of the Information Technology and Services Department, and Darya Milyaeva, Director of the International Cooperation Department, also attended the meeting. Associate Professor Shu Jiangbo demonstrated the functions of the Russian version of the "Xiaoya" platform on site, and the two sides had in-depth discussions on cooperation content such as jointly building a Sino Russian artificial intelligence education joint laboratory, promoting two-way exchanges between teachers and students, jointly applying for scientific research projects, and holding summer camps. Vice President Sulaimanov expressed the hope that our school will establish a "Xiaoya Platform" exhibition area and joint laboratory at the school to promote substantive cooperation between China and Russia in the field of artificial intelligence education. Vice Minister Zuo Mingzhang warmly invited the school principal to lead a delegation to participate in the 3rd World Digital Education Conference, and warmly welcomed the school students to attend the summer school held in July this year. During the visit, the delegation also visited the student evaluation center, model training courses, and digital mirroring technology exhibition hall of the school.

At the Russian Academy of Educational Sciences, Svetlana Lazurenok, Director of the Center for Integrated Education Development, Yuliya Filatova, Director of the Higher Special Education Laboratory at the Center for Inclusive Education Development, and Victoria Agafonova, Head of International Cooperation and Public Relations, had in-depth exchanges with the delegation on the jointly submitted project "Technology and Application of Artificial Intelligence in Special Children's Education", and explored potential areas of cooperation such as the application of new generation information and communication technology in special education, joint construction of research laboratories, and joint organization of international seminars. Razurenok and Filatova will be invited to attend the 3rd World Digital Education Conference and give lectures at the school. Zhao Dan, the second secretary of the Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, also attended the talks.
