



Lin Chen is a Lecturer, Master’s Supervisor at Central China Normal University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Software and Theory from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and joined the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education of Central China Normal University in 2024.
His research focuses on educational big data, students’ privacy protection, ability and competency evaluation, federated learning, online learning and differential privacy. He has a multidisciplinary background in computer software and theory, control engineering, educational technology and other fields.
He is currently leading some projects funded by organizations such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the Central China Normal University and has been a key participant in several major national projects. He has published some high-quality papers in journals like IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering. He has completed several authorized patents and has received some awards, including Gold Award at the National Finals of the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition (2023) and the Best Student Paper Award of the IEEE International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence (2023).
