




Qian Wan is a Lecturer, Master’s Supervisor at Central China Normal University. He earned his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the College of Computer Science at the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the School of Automation at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). He joined the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education in 2022.
With an interdisciplinary background spanning computer science, automation, and education, he has long been engaged in research related to natural language processing, cognitive computing, affective computing, intelligent tutoring systems, and large language models.
In recent years, Dr. Wan has led five research projects as the principal investigator, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation and the Wuhan Knowledge Innovation Project. Additionally, he has participated as a key member in two major projects: the National Natural Science Foundation Major Program and the National Key R&D Program of China on New Generation Artificial Intelligence. In the fields of artificial intelligence and educational technology, he has published over 20 high-impact papers in journals or conference like AAAI, EMNLP, MM, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Knowledge-based Systems, and Expert Systems With Applications. He also serves as a reviewer for these journals and is a member of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China.
