Xiaoxuan Shen is a Lecturer and Master’s Supervisor at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education. He received his Ph.D. in Educational Information Technology from the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning at Central China Normal University.

His research focuses on intelligent recommendation, knowledge tracing, educational pattern discovery, and the application of large language models in education. Dr. Shen has led several projects, including a Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a sub-task of the National Major S&T Innovation 2030 Project. He has also participated as a core member in major national research initiatives.

Dr. Shen has published over 40 high-quality papers in prestigious journals and conferences such as Nature Computational Science, IEEE TKDE, ACM TOIS, KDD, AAAI, and WWW. His work has been cited over 1,400 times since 2020. Notable contributions include developing interpretable knowledge tracing models, innovative resource recommendation algorithms, and a novel AI4LS paradigm that uncovers learning principles. His work aims to enhance learning quality through technologically empowered, data-driven approaches.
