Xu Chen is currently an Associate Research Fellow and Master’s Supervisor at Central China Normal University. She holds a doctoral degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and joined the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning in 2021. Her research focuses on educational digital assessment, educational human-computer interaction, educational agents, and digital resource generation.

Associate Research Fellow Chen has led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and one special project of the National Data Administration. She has also participated as a core member in several major national-level projects. She has published more than 10 high-quality papers in SCI/SSCI/CSSCI-indexed journals, holds 9 authorized patents, and has received a number of awards. These include the Merit Award in the 2022 Hubei Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the Third Prize in the Hubei Division of the 2024 "Data Elements ×" Competition..
