




Zhi Liu is a Professor, Master’s and Doctoral Supervisor at Central China Normal University. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Information Science and Technology and joined the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning in 2015.
His research focuses on educational large models, data mining, learning analytics, text sentiment analysis, emotional dialog systems, collaborative learning, and technology-supported empirical research. In 2017, he was fully funded by the China Scholarship Council to conduct research at Humboldt University in Berlin, focusing on emotion perception and learning analytics technologies.
Professor Liu has led five projects funded by organizations such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation and has been a key participant in several major national projects. He has published over 40 high-impact papers, including six ESI highly cited works, in journals like IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems. He holds eight authorized patents and has received numerous awards, including First Prize for Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress (2024) and the Special Prize for Science and Technology Progress (2020).
