Short Bio

Tai Wang is a Professor, Master’s and Doctoral Supervisor at Central China Normal  University. He earned his Ph.D. and Beng. in Huazhong University of Science and  Technology, China in Dec. 2007 and Jul. 2003, respectively. He joined the National  Engineering Research Center for E-Learning/Educational Big Data in Jan., 2008. 

His research focuses on information retrieval, epistemic network analysis, course  design, cognitive processing and content distribution network in the domain of  education.

In 2014-2015, he was funded by the China Scholarship Council to study Learning  Space Theory at Federal Institute of Technology and Psychology Department in  University of Memphis, TN, United States. 

Professor Wang has led several projects funded by organizations such as the National  Natural Science Foundation and Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Science  Projects, and has been a key participant in several major national high-tech projects.  He has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Education and Information Technologies. He also published 3 books, including a monograph: The  Mathematical Foundation of Multi-Space Learning Theory. He holds six authorized  patents and has received several awards, including First Prize for Hubei Province  Science and Technology Progress (2011).
