Short Bio

Zhicheng Dai is a Professor, Master's and Doctoral Supervisor at Central China Normal University, where he leads the Smart Classroom Team. He joined the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning in 2010. His research focuses on smart educational environments, edge computing, intelligent perception and analytics, and e-learning.

Professor Dai has presided over 20 research projects, including sub-projects of the Major Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and sub-tasks of the National Key R&D Program. Additionally, he has played a key role in over 10 major initiatives, such as the National Science & Technology Pillar Program, the National Education Science Planning Project, the Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation funded by the Ministry of Education, and strategic research projects supported by the Ministry of Education. He has published over 50 high-impact papers in prestigious journals, authored 4 academic books, and secured over 40 international/national patents along with over 20 software copyrights. His outstanding contributions have earned him multiple awards, such as the First Prize in Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2024).
