The opening ceremony of the 2024 National Training Program for Key Teachers in Regiment Farms (Advanced Training Program for Primary Mathematics Teachers) was successfully held at our university on the morning of August 18, 2024. The event was attended by Professor Wu Xiaoping, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education at Central China Normal University; Mr. Li Xingping, former Party Secretary and Director of the Education Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; as well as all the teachers participating in the program.

After the opening ceremony, renowned expert Professor Yi Hongxing delivered an engaging and inspiring lecture titled "Studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era: Becoming Educator-Type Teachers." Combining theory, practical examples, and patriotic songs, the session captured the participants’ attention and sparked their enthusiasm for learning.

Professor Yi emphasized an educational philosophy based on a passion for teaching, ongoing learning, reflective thinking, and curiosity. He encouraged teachers to develop emotional intelligence and maintain a positive attitude, while highlighting the importance of Party values and red education. His lecture significantly deepened the participants’ ideological and political awareness as well as their professional ethics.

The participating teachers shared that the day’s training was both intellectually enriching and highly practical, leaving them inspired and full of new ideas. They expressed confidence that, with expert guidance, their teaching skills and professional abilities would improve significantly.
