After the opening ceremony, Mr. Li Xingping, Director of the Education Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, delivered an inspiring lecture titled "Inheriting and Promoting the Spirit of the Corps: Cultivating Border Defenders for the New Era." Drawing on his experience in education and teaching, Director Li explored the core meaning and modern significance of the Corps spirit. He provided a detailed explanation of the Corps spirit, the Populus euphratica spirit, and the veteran spirit.
He outlined the core values of the Corps spirit through four key dimensions: first, a profound love for the motherland, which lies at the heart of the Corps spirit; second, selfless dedication as its enduring value; third, hard work and pioneering as its noble character; and fourth, a relentless pursuit of innovation and progress.
During the lecture, the teachers reflected deeply on the Corps spirit and developed a strong appreciation for its values of perseverance and selfless dedication. Inspired by this example, they aspire to become educator-type teachers who embody these qualities. Committed to caring for their students, they promise to face teaching challenges with resilience and to make meaningful contributions to their students’ growth. By carrying forward the Corps spirit, they aim to improve the quality and impact of education.
