Intelligent cloud-integrated learning represents an innovative educational practice born from the deep fusion of next-generation information technologies with teaching and learning. It creates a new educational environment and service system for talent development and plays a crucial role in supporting the strategy of education modernization, as outlined in the National Medium- and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010–2020) and China Education Modernization 2035. It is also a key part of the modern service industry, recognized in the National Medium- and Long-Term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006–2020). In response, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Education have launched major initiatives focused on overcoming core technologies in intelligent cloud-integrated learning.

Within this context, extensive research and practical applications have advanced the theory and key technologies of intelligent cloud-integrated learning. A systematic theory of multi-space fused learning environments has been proposed, enabling breakthroughs in smart learning environment construction, real-time perception and quantification of learning processes, and personalized learning service customization. These achievements have led to a cluster of technology patents and the creation of a range of platforms and specialized devices designed for basic education, higher education, and ubiquitous learning.
