With the ongoing integration of information technology and education, digital educational resources have grown rapidly, greatly advancing the digital transformation of education in China. National policies—such as the Ministry of Education’s Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Online Education, China Education Modernization 2035, and the 14th Five-Year National Informatization Plan—emphasize the need to improve management of digital educational content, develop data-driven intelligent services, and optimize the supply of online learning materials.
Today, online course platforms offer vast amounts of digital educational resources, but their quality varies widely, and high-quality content is still in short supply. Traditional manual evaluations of these resources are often subjective, slow, and require a lot of work, making them unsuitable for large-scale assessments. To solve this problem, the center’s research team provides a course resource evaluation service based on a standardized process. This process includes creating a localized evaluation system, designing assessment tools, carrying out system-based evaluations, collecting and analyzing resource data, visually presenting the results, and producing detailed evaluation reports. This intelligent evaluation method offers a clear and thorough understanding of the quality of online course resources in a region. It is user-friendly and efficient, supported by scientifically designed and reliable tools. Additionally, the detailed data analysis allows results to be shown in easy-to-understand visual forms such as index maps, bar charts, and pie charts, leading to comprehensive evaluation reports on course resources.
