Course Resource Evaluation System

With the ongoing integration of information technology and education, digital educational resources have grown exponentially, significantly advancing the digital transformation of education in China. National policies—including the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Online Education by the Ministry of Education and ten other departments, China Education Modernization 2035, and the 14th Five-Year National Informatization Plan—stress the importance of strengthening management of digital educational content and applications, developing data-driven intelligent services for digital education resources, and optimizing the supply of online educational materials.

Today, online course platforms host vast amounts of digital educational resources, but the quality varies greatly, and there remains a shortage of high-quality content. Traditional manual evaluations are often subjective, time-consuming, and labor-intensive, making them impractical for large-scale assessments. To address this, the center’s research team offers a course resource evaluation service based on a standardized process that includes developing a localized evaluation indicator system, designing assessment tools, conducting system-based evaluations, collecting and analyzing resource data, visually presenting the results, and producing detailed evaluation reports. This intelligent evaluation approach provides a clear and comprehensive understanding of the quality of online course resources within a region. The process is user-friendly and efficient, supported by scientifically designed and reliable tools. Furthermore, the detailed data analysis enables results to be presented through intuitive visual formats such as index maps, bar charts, and pie charts, culminating in comprehensive course resource evaluation reports.
