Major Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China — Theoretical and Key Technology Research on AI-Driven Teaching and Learning

     This project addresses important scientific challenges in learning cognition and adaptive strategies within human-machine collaborative teaching environments. It focuses on five key areas: understanding how learners think in intelligent teaching settings; developing core technologies and designing environments for smooth human-machine cooperation; interpreting various types of learning materials and offering personalized guidance; creating and improving intelligent teaching methods and adjustment techniques; and building and testing intelligent teaching platforms. The ultimate goal is to develop a human-machine collaborative intelligent teaching platform that meets international standards of excellence.

     Targeting millions of primary school science students, the project aims to validate how effective intelligent teaching can be in real classrooms. It is expected to significantly improve AI-driven education in China and establish AI-powered teaching and learning as a crucial strategy for developing top innovative talent across the country.
