National Key R&D Program Project — Development and Demonstration of a Crowdsourced Personalized Service Platform for Digital Education

The project aims to drive innovation in the supply of educational resources and personalized education service models. It harnesses next-generation information technologies—such as crowdsourcing science, big data, and blockchain—as key enablers to develop a theoretical framework for crowdsourced personalized digital education services. Throughout the research, the project has addressed critical common challenges in crowdsourced education service provision, personalized service adaptation, and transaction security. It has established standards and guidelines for crowdsourced digital education resources and developed a personalized service platform based on crowdsourcing and co-creation. This platform has been successfully scaled and implemented in over 100 cities across eastern, central, and western China, involving thousands of schools. Notably, it played a vital role in supporting the “suspend classes without stopping teaching or learning” initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic.
