Dear candidates

According to the Implementation Rules for the "Application Assessment" Enrollment of Doctoral Students in the Engineering Center of Central China Normal University in 2025, those who have passed the National College English Test Band 4 (or IELTS score 5.5, or TOEFL score 80) but have not reached the National College English Test Band 6 (or IELTS score 6.5, or TOEFL score 95) must participate in the foreign language proficiency assessment organized by the Engineering Center in addition to submitting their existing English proficiency certificates. Failure to pass the National College English Test Band 4 (or IELTS score below 5.5, or TOEFL score below 80) cannot participate in the foreign language proficiency assessment organized by the Engineering Center.

The relevant matters regarding the English proficiency assessment organized by the Engineering Center in 2025 are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Registration matters

1. Registration time: 9:00-11:00 am on February 25, 2025

2. Registration location: Office 7006, 7th floor, Nanhu Comprehensive Building, Central China Normal University

3. Registration materials: When registering, candidates must provide their ID card and original foreign language proficiency certificate for verification.

2、 Assessment requirements

The English proficiency assessment is conducted through a written test, and failure to participate in the assessment on time will be considered as the candidate giving up the application.

Those who still fail the English proficiency assessment (below 60 points) will be considered as not meeting the application requirements and will not be allowed to enter the material review.

3、 Written test matters

The exam content includes translation and writing, with a maximum score of 100 points and a test time of 90 minutes.

3. Written test location: Room N201, Nanhu Comprehensive Building, Central China Normal University

Please bring your original ID card and arrive at the designated examination room 15 minutes before the designated examination time to wait for the exam.
